|
Ridge Valley Day Care features fully trained certified teachers selected from the fields of child development, early childhood education and child psychology to ensure that the needs of your children are fully met.
Preschool Child Care
The Preschool program operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM all year round, except for major Holidays. This program is designed for the 3-5 year old child who is in need of a full day program. The curriculum focuses on the physical, social, cognitive and emotional needs of your young child. Group programs include planned indoor and outdoor activities, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and field trips. We are currently working with the Ohio Board of Education to enhance the school-readiness of children through the Early Learning Initiative Program.
Toddler Care Program
Toddler care is available for children 18 months to 3 years of age and operates from 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Our staff to child ratio enables reliable, safe and nurturing care for your child. The curriculum includes planned indoor and outdoor activities, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, field trips and daily naps.
School Age Care
The school age program offers before and after school care for children 6-12 years of age. Activities geared towards the older children include arts and crafts, science and field trips. Swimming lessons and children`s park activities are provided by Coulby Park, located off campus. Summer vacation, spring break, holiday breaks and full-time care is optionally provided. Transportation is provided to Wickliffe city schools.
Activities
In addition to the regular programs that are available, we offer Tae Kwon Do, arts and crafts, and music. In the Summer, swimming classes are available through Wickliffe and Safety Town is offered to the preschool children. We also offer field trips and other fun events during Summer for all ages/groups.
